« on: December 08, 2018, 10:57:05 AM »
Hi; all of you in here that use ukuu to update the kernel to newer.  you should update to 4.19.8 as it fixes splash screen flicker as well as an ext4 corruption that was found.

Well we all know Steam,GOG, humble bundle etc but what about where to get old versions if you don't want to buy them on steam again is what I'm looking for as well as a way to keep said installers.

Not really a add to iso thing could we have a section of how to get gamers etc in the forums.
unless you have a staple I'm not aware of that would help with day to day stuff not all of us  have your  maker skill set.
everytime I tried to build stuff over the years before was a fail for me so unless its an auto build from source with tweaks I'm screwed lol.
I'll be more then happy to hunt down links post in the first part of the forum etc.

« on: October 29, 2018, 09:16:21 PM »
hi all;
if you want to upgrade you may have to do what i did  for the  410.66 drivers and download the i386 versions and libs as they keep timing out/no network avail check your internet for me. i've changed repo etc and some reason i keep going back to u.s repos when i'm in canada.
it even gave me a french repo when choosing pick best so another odd issue.
just a heads up.

Software Issues / upgrade nvidia 410.60 drivers
« on: October 23, 2018, 06:55:47 PM »
Hi;
While these drivers are in synaptic and not the driver manager you can upgrade to it and have it work on  4.18.16 kernel will try on 4.19
the only issue is I had to use sudo apt --fix-broken install after getting lib nvidia-compute i386and amd64 installed via dpkg -i cause they would not download.
they failed. i'll include them here if you want to install these are the 18.04 versions not 18.10.
i'm on it now and all seems well. will try with 4.19 kernel.

heres the link :https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wWvc5PSa1nOvdma3V3oknJlS_inEMIvf?usp=sharing
files were too big to add here.
